IALD San Francisco: Tour China Basin Park at Mission Rock

Join the IALD and ASLA for an evening celebrating the natural beauty of the new China Basin Park.

We'll begin the night with drinks and appetizers at nearby ATwater Tavern, then take a quick walk through the new Mission Rock neighborhood to a project tour with the Lighting and Landscape design teams.

Learn about lighting & landscape design strategies that honor sensitive ecosystems while strolling along the Bay Trail of San Francisco's newest public park. Take in stunning views of the Giant's Stadium and Bay Bridge while hearing about the process, challenges and final solutions from the designers themselves. PritchardPeck Lighting and SCAPE will be jointly presenting to discuss the intricacies of the park and how lighting and landscape successfully worked together on this iconic project.
