In the Spotlight: Ben Cantu, Luxxbox USA
As key representatives of LIRC member companies, LIRC Ambassadors are among the highest-visibility profiles in the Lighting Industry Resource Council on the global stage. They work closely with the IALD Region + Chapter Coordinators to engage with the local lighting design community, bolster communications, promote events, encourage networking, and promote the IALD and LIRC.
This edition, we shine the LIRC Ambassador Spotlight on Ben Cantu, VP of Business Development with LIRC member company Luxxbox USA.
Ben has been an invaluable presence and voice in the LIRC for years. He passionately advocates for the industry and dedicates his time and talent to maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships between specifiers and manufacturers. With over 30 years in the architectural lighting community, supporting the IALD has always been one of his top priorities.
Having served on the IALD Enlighten Americas Content Advisory Group and the LIRC Steering Committee, contributing further to the association and industry as a LIRC Ambassador is a role that Ben is eager to take on, particularly at a local level with the newly established IALD Texas Chapter:
"I want to help grow the Texas Chapter by reaching out to my peers and colleagues to join and support the IALD and LIRC," he shares. "Over the years, I 've helped many chapters and regions throughout the country, and now that the opportunity exists, I'd like to focus on my local chapter and the incredible talent that lives and works here."
