2025 LIRC Steering Committee Election Results

The IALD LIRC is thrilled to announce the election of five individuals to the LIRC Steering Committee for three-year terms starting 1 January 2025, furthering the Council's commitment to fostering ethical collaboration in the lighting industry.

LIRC Steering Committee Co-Chair: Anthony Kerr

The LIRC welcomes Anthony Kerr to the LIRC Steering Committee as he joins Ron Kurtz, IALD as co-chair.

Anthony is the Founding Partner and Director of Strategic Partnerships at LEDFlex Group, where he has been instrumental in establishing the brand as a leader in Linear LED technology. With over 15 years of industry experience, Anthony's visionary leadership and expertise have driven the brand's growth and global recognition.

Beginning his career as a qualified lighting designer, Anthony's transition to manufacturing entrepreneurship was fuelled by a passion for merging cutting-edge technology with creative design. His comprehensive understanding of design principles and advanced lighting technology enables him to spearhead the development of state-of-the-art linear lighting solutions that seamlessly integrate into a wide range of applications, from residential and commercial developments to large-scale public installations.

Anthony's collaborative approach and strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and lighting professionals empower him to bring a holistic vision to each project. He is adept at balancing functional requirements with aesthetic goals, ensuring that his lighting solutions enhance the ambiance and human experience within the space.

The LIRC welcomes four individuals from across the lighting industry to member roles on the LIRC Steering Committee this year:

  • Dan Hadash, Design IALD of lightSPACE at SMP Engineering
  • David Kelley of Pinnacle Architectural Lighting
  • Dwayne Waggoner of Selux
