IALD Education Trust 2025 Stipend Program

Apply to attend the Educator Workshop at IALD Enlighten Americas 2025

All educators currently teaching post-secondary courses in lighting design are invited to apply for an IALD Education Trust Travel Stipend to attend a one-day workshop on Thursday, 9 October, and receive one (1) complimentary registration for the complete IALD Enlighten Americas 2025 conference experience from 9 to 11 October. 

Workshop participants will facilitate the development of new programs and resources for students and educators by providing insight into topics such as content development, outreach, community building, and the future of lighting design education. 

Selected applicants will receive one (1) complimentary EA25 conference registration, four (4) nights of hotel accommodation, and funding to offset travel costs.

Overview of Requirements

Applicants do not need to be a full-time professor of lighting design; any instructor providing full- or part-time post-secondary education in lighting design from all countries is eligible. Applications are accepted through 4 August 2025. Selected applicants will be notified by the end of August.
