IALD Melbourne Chapter Welcomes New Volunteer Coordinator

The global lighting design community shines brighter at a local level as our IALD members lead engagement for the IALD Regions + Chapters.

The IALD Melbourne Chapter is thrilled to announce that Esther Knibbe, Member IALD, is joining the roster of chapter coordinators.

Esther is a lighting designer specializing in interior spaces, with a strong interest in daylighting. She has lived and worked in both Sweden and Australia and holds a Master’s degree in Architectural Lighting Design from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.

Since becoming a lighting designer in 2014, Esther has worked on a diverse range of projects, including a new university precinct and an airport upgrade. She is passionate about using lighting to enhance how people experience a space, highlight architectural features, and create a positive environmental impact.

Our IALD Regions + Chapters thrive under the energetic, engaged leadership of these volunteers!
