Industry Event: ArchLIGHT Summit 2024
A two-day commercial and architectural lighting event dedicated to delivering a dynamic, interactive, inclusive and collaborative experience for lighting designers and specifiers, interior designers, architects and other practicing and aspiring lighting professionals.
THE EVENT
Created and hosted by Dallas Market Center, ArchLIGHT Summit will showcase new products from hundreds of leading commercial brands reflecting the latest lighting trends and technologies, combined with a full slate of accredited educational and hands-on experiential sessions facilitated by the sharpest minds in design and lighting. This innovation can be accessed in a convenient central location within three hours of either coast, served by two airports.
THE VENUE
Dallas Market Center is already known as "the home of lighting" for its 1 million square feet of inspirational permanent showrooms that encompass Lightovation, the largest residential lighting show in North America. ArchLIGHT Summit will combine these resources with a temporary marketplace of commercial lighting lines for a comprehensive collection of solutions for any project. Lighting indeed lives here!
THE SCHEDULE
In addition to numerous IALD member panel speakers, there are the following IALD-sponsored, moderated, and presented events on the ArchLIGHT schedule:
- Concept to Construction: Working Better Together (moderated by IALD professional and Board of Directors member Jered Widmer, IALD)
- This panel discussion brings together architectural design consultants and lighting business partners to discuss their role in specifying lighting and the challenges they face to see a project develop from concept through construction. This conversation invites partners to ask important questions, challenge the process, and identify ways to work better together to reach mutual goals. It's a must-attend for those who want to address pain points in the design industry and find solutions.
- Sweet Home IALD
- In this session, IALD President Andrea Hartranft, FIALD, will talk about associations and how the work of these organizations impacts the profession of lighting design and the wider lighting industry.
- IALD Education Trust Blue Ribbon Student Tour
- Led by a panel of IALD professional members and educators, student attendees will have a guided tour of the 'home of lighting' and Lightovation show, the largest residential lighting event in the Western Hemisphere.
