OPEN CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
2025 LIRC STEERING COMMITTEE
The LIRC Nominations & Elections Committee accepts nominations for individuals to be considered for service on the LIRC Steering Committee.
IALD and LIRC members are invited to nominate LIRC colleagues, or LIRC members may nominate themselves.
Nominations must be received by 11:59 P.M. CST on Monday, 21 October 2024.
OPEN POSITIONS
- LIRC STEERING COMMITTEE CHAIR. [one position open]
- This candidate must be an active LIRC member company employee who can serve a two-year term (January 2025 to December 2026) chairing the LIRC Steering Committee.
- The chairperson is responsible for the committee's overall operations, which include leading all committee meetings and ensuring that supporting personnel perform proper coordination, scheduling, and dissemination of pre/post-meeting information (such as agendas, administrative topics, and meeting minutes).
- LIRC STEERING COMMITTEE MEMBER. [one position open]
- This candidate must be an active LIRC member company employee who can serve a three-year term (January 2025 to December 2027) on the LIRC Steering Committee.
- A committee member is responsible for representing their organization during the committee meetings, taking action to implement committee meeting decisions, and disseminating information acquired from the meeting as appropriate.
Being nominated or self-nominated as a potential candidate for a position on the LIRC Steering Committee does not automatically place the nominee on the ballot. Rather, it includes them in the review process conducted by the LIRC Nominations + Elections Committee.
